For teens who are struggling with the loss of a loved one
When a child or teen loses a loved one, their world turns upside down. They struggle to understand their emotions, feel isolated, and often don’t know how to express their grief. This can lead to long-term emotional and behavioral issues if not addressed.
Introducing “Grief Relief” a specialized grief support group designed specifically for teens who have experienced loss. Our program provides a nurturing environment where kids can connect, heal, and grow together.
How Grief Groups for Teens Can Help
Our expert-led sessions help children:
- Understand and process their emotions
- Develop healthy coping mechanisms
- Build resilience and hope for the future
- Connect with peers who truly understand their journey
You might worry that talking about loss or hearing about the loss of others could upset your teen further. However, research shows that providing a safe space to express grief actually promotes healing and prevents long-term emotional difficulties. Children and teens who participate in grief support groups often show increased ability to express their feelings, improved social connections, and a more positive outlook on life.¹
What to Expect
Grief Relief is specifically tailored to help teens who are suffering with loss. Our group facilitators are licensed mental health clinicians and are specially trained in childhood bereavement. We keep our groups small to ensure that each member receives the attention and support they need.
